Does CSAEC remove threats or automatically fix vulnerabilities?
No. It assesses selected controls and provides decision support. The application does not autonomously change Windows settings, remove malware, patch software or remediate vulnerabilities. Important changes require authorisation, testing and professional review.
Is a Good score proof of compliance or certification?
No. A score between 85 and 100 indicates a sound baseline across the available indicators, but it is not an ISO certification, formal audit, regulatory determination, NIS2 assessment, insurance approval or guarantee of security.
Does the AI connect to the Internet?
The integrated model is designed to operate locally on the workstation. Core AI questions and responses do not require an Internet connection, cloud AI account or cloud subscription. Optional external software used deliberately by the user may have its own connectivity.
Are scan results and reports uploaded automatically?
No. Core checks and result processing are local-first, and reports are not automatically sent to CSAEC or CONNEXT EOOD. A sharing action prepares a message in the default email client; the user reviews and deliberately sends it.
Are network results always complete?
No. Segmentation, filtering, inactive or sleeping devices, permissions, service state and current network conditions can hide assets and services. Discovery is not a complete asset inventory.
Can vulnerability checks be wrong?
Yes. Automated checks can produce false positives and false negatives. A detected version may be incorrect, a weakness may be mitigated, or a real issue may not be visible. Findings need authorised validation.
Does backup configuration prove that recovery works?
No. The control indicates available evidence of a backup configuration. It cannot prove completeness, integrity, isolation or restorability. Organisations must perform regular restoration testing.
Why do some checks take longer?
Local configuration checks and network-oriented checks perform different work. Discovery, port inspection and vulnerability assessment depend on reachable devices and services and can therefore take longer.
What happens when I recheck?
An individual recheck repeats one control after an approved change or earlier limitation. A complete recheck creates a new point-in-time overview and replaces the displayed scan state.
What Windows version is supported?
The documented baseline is Microsoft Windows 10 or later, 64-bit, in a standard desktop environment with sufficient local storage and suitable permissions.
How much does the licence cost?
